NVQ Level 3 And Level 4 In Health And Social Care

Health and Social, Care Industry has assumed a great importance in the developed Countries of the world because of the aging population.The Number of Health Care workers are declining and there is a serious shortage of health care workers in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

The college has entered into arrangement with a number of Care Homes to provide an ongoing training to the students to enable them to qualify for Professional Health Care from NCFE Examination Board. NCFE is the oldest awarding body in UK and their NVQ courses are industry recognized and provide the students a real in-depth understanding of the Industry.

Course duration: Upto 15 months maximum for each course

Course Delivery Mode :
The course duration is 15 hours per week of which 7.5 hours is classroom based study at HIBS campus and the remaining 7.5 hours will be on job training which form integral part of NCFE's NVQ programme.

Entry Level:
Candidates should have IELTS band 4 plus and should have some Nursing/Care qualifications or have 2/3 years experience as unqualified Nurse in a Hospital.

Registration fees: £300
Course fees: £2000 Level 3/Level 4 each
Examination, Workshop & Placement fees: Approx £750

Placement:
Students are placed at one of the partner Care Homes. The training will be paid for at standard UK wage rate.
Progression:
Level 3: Upon completion of the course the progression is Level 4.
Level 4: Upon completion of the course the progression is to a degree course.
